Starting in April 2015, the EPA’s Office of Public Affairs initiated a new email subscription service for all of EPA’s news releases and some of their newsletters.
You can sign up at http://www2.epa.gov/newsroom/email-subscriptions. Once you enter your email address, you’ll be taken to a profile page where you will enter a password and add in certain other details, i.e. geographic selection and topics that you’d like to be notified about. By providing your location, it lets the USEPA send you critical information or updates related to your area, such as emergency response or recovery after a hurricane. You can also choose which news releases you wish to receive (national and/or regional.)
If you already are a subscriber to EPA emails, you should have received a test email on April 1st outlining the new email service.
