Baron Environmental participated in the 2/25/20 AHMP (Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals) Chapter Meeting at Duke Farms in Hillsborough, NJ. SumCo Eco-contracting presented on removal of dams in NJ and the North East. Technical aspects were reviewed and challenges of the work were highlighted including interactions with investors, stakeholders, and governmental agencies. Demolition of structures can be swift, while preparation and restoration activities can take a year or more. Like many projects involving New Jersey or other state EHS Compliance requirements, it takes professionals with specific expertise to navigate successful completion.
