Baron Team holding signs about New Compound Review and OEB Assessments

Before you post another EHS Manager job opening for your NJ pharma, CDMO, CRO, or R&D site, think about the last time your Business Development team needed a fast EHS answer.

For instance, a potential customer sends over a compound profile and your BD team wants to know if they should bid. Operations needs to know if the work fits, and leadership needs confidence that the risk is understood. Someone needs to evaluate the OEB banding, whether you use a 4-band, 5-band, or 6-band system, and determine if the right controls are in place.

That answer cannot sit in the EHS Manager's inbox for three weeks. However, they may defer priority to training, hazardous waste, inspections, customer requests, or other daily site issues.

The question is:

How do you support compliance, culture, daily EHS needs, and fast business development decisions without creating a bottleneck?

For many NJ pharma, CDMOs, CROs, and R&D sites, the alternate to in-house hiring of an EHS Manager is called EHS Long Term Support. It’s an all-inclusive subscription service with comprehensive subject matter experts using a team-based approach.

It includes fast OEB assessments, confirmation of proper risk controls for customer RFPs, training the site teams, and managing all aspects of day-to-day EHS.

Before you hire an EHS Manager, pause for a minute. There may be a better way to support growth without having every critical EHS decision depend on one person.

If there are some similarities at your site to what I’ve shared, I’d be happy to compare notes and talk through whether EHS Long Term Support may be the right fit for you.

Cheers! Brian
