Is your EHS setup built to last? Consider this recent example related to NOx and RPPR.

Plinio, Anne, Brian, Dean, and Tommy from Baron Environmental are brainstorming a NOx emissions calculation for an RPPR submission for NJDEP. From here forward, they are eliminating project-based assignments.

Earlier this week, a customer we supported with RPPR years ago reached out with a quick question, and it resurfaced a bigger issue:

Why are some sites still treating EHS like a spot fix?

They originally came to us because their RPPR calculations didn’t make sense. For example, their spreadsheet tied NOx emissions to equipment hours, but the new permit clearly tied it to nitric acid usage.

Their concern? Another week-long NJDEP inspection like they had once before. A painful memory.

We corrected the mass balance, calculations, and overall plan. It will now hit all elements on an inspector’s checklist, and turn that week-long audit into a single-day review. The inspector walks away happy.

Then, and most importantly, we let the customer know: this would be the last time we’d help them with a quick fix. Quick fixes keep you compliant today. Strong systems keep you ready all year.

Today, everything we do is through our long-term support model. A steady team that knows your site and solves problems before they grow.
