Three votes cast, three thumbs up, and one winning strategy for EHS Outsourcing, aka “EHS Long Term Support”...........Don’t let your EHS needs go unrepresented!
Sharing below a post from 3 months ago outlining the winning strategy:
“Outsourcing of EHS comes with valid concerns. BUT, -----> it trumps hiring in-house staff like a landslide victory!
EHS Outsourcing concerns:
1. “We need someone onsite who understands our specific operations.”
2. “We require immediate response for urgent issues.”
3. “Building a safety culture requires continuous presence.”
4. “How could Outsourcing be less expensive?”
Yes, thoughts are valid. However, outsourcing subscription services address them.
Understanding Specific Operations:
Subscription services include on-site, customized trainings and culture development sessions. The team adapts to specific challenges.
Immediate Response for Urgent Issues:
We agree. Immediate responses are crucial. A dedicated team is always accessible and provides on-site support whenever necessary.
Building a Safety Culture:
This is much more than having someone physically present. Training supervisors to become safety champions and embedding safety at every level is key.
Cost Concerns:
Using economies of scale and templates, subscription costs are less expensive compared to the traditional in-house EHS model.
Outsourcing EHS transforms a constant struggle into a strategic advantage for many companies.
